They are well suited for many skin problems: cuts- sprinkle some powder on, burns- spread some Mask or Scrub on, infections of pretty-much any type: either powder or a paste will be helpful. In pure form calcium bentonite has been proven to kill and remove infections of all types from wood slivers and splinters to flesh-eating bacteria! The natural mineral clay immediately sooths pain as it goes to work on the natural and ever-present bacterias and infection.

Natural Digestive Treatment:
Montana Bentonite is pleased to now offer both powder and capsules of our calcium bentonite for internal use. We have begun a heat-treating process for conditioning our clay and so are comfortable offering it for internal purposes. This an herbal-gentle heating to sterilize and thereby kill any possible bacteria or other biological contaminants. This is a heat treating, not chemical and not irradiation.
As discussed previously, calcium bentonite will adsorb toxins, bacterias and metals to the cells and bind them for removal from the body. It is our belief that calcium bentonite also has potential for binding and beneficial bacterias from the digestive system, therefore a crash-course is not recommended. A controlled-use campaign, much like a vitamin supplement, can be very beneficial. The clay can do its' work over time without digestive disruption and even provide minerals and trace minerals as the body chemistry will selectively uptake them. This calcium bentonite is organic, colloidal and naturally-chelated, making the clay elements bio-available. Natural digestive treatment will be beneficial with a regular observance of balanced meals and regular exercise.
Self-medication should be conducted conservatively. Just because calcium bentonite and other digestive cleansing treatments are out there on the internet and on store shelves does not mean it's all good and safe. Under observation of a health-care professional, many things are possible. Naturopaths and homeopaths are a great resource when considering a physically changing and potentially life-changing treatment course. Doctors of Chiropractic can also be very knowledgeable and a great resource about the benefits and controls on toxins removal therapies.
We have personal and direct evidence that calcium bentonite is an effective treatment for food poisoning! Ever had a dose of "Montezuma's Revenge"? Calcium bentonite works wonders for food poisonings, herbicide poisoning and (some) pesticide poisoning. This has shown to be just about a "no-brainer" for a very nasty condition. Along with water and rest, 2 calcium bentonite capsules every hour will have a person up and alive again in about three or four hours. Your welcome! For some persons, calcium bentonite works as a natural heartburn reliever. I have not found it to work for me personally. darn.
