Calcium bentonite is "The Healing Clay","The Living Clay" and the original Fuller's Earth. It is naturally chelated and colloidal- an organic mineral clay.Calcium bentonite is also non-comedegenic. This means that it does not clog skin pores. The result of these is that this is the natural treatment of many skin ailments including not only acne, rashes and excessively oily skin but also for such worse conditions as infected wounds. It is the healthy base for makeup as it will help to cleanse the skin and pores rather than trapping oils in and making the underlying skin problems worse. We are preparing products for people care, pet and livestock care and for organic soil care.

Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies. Of course, it is working continuously engaging the environment. Skin is a semi-permeable membrane- it allows some things passage while keeping some other things out. This is essential for us to not be poisoned every day. Bacterias and chemical compounds are literally everywhere in the air, earth and water.
Calcium bentonite is one of the founding ingredients of life. 65 million years ago it gave safe harbor to amoebas that began to form life from the bare mineral elements. This is important because as one of the founding ingredients, calcium bentonite is recognized by life forms as being friendly. Calcium bentonite is thereby allowed passage around and in a body without being recognized as an invader and causing the antibody defense mechanisms to kick in.

An essential mineral for cosmetics, calcium bentonite is a natural skin conditioner and softener, as well as an extractor of excess oils, and bacterial toxins that contribute to acne outbreaks and infections that invade chapped or wounded skin. So much good from one basic ingredient!

Our standard c.bentonite is an excellent foundation under all makeups. In 200 mesh powder size it disappears in a light dusting to protect and condition the skin as it prevents the makeup elements from getting into the skin through the pores.

For everyone experiencing acne (and who does not?), calcium bentonite acts purely, simply and naturally to isolate and extract pollutants that a person might be sensitive to and to dry the skin of excess oils that are being produced. Internal digestive balances can also contribute to acne outbreaks as the skin is an organ working to do what it can to cleanse the body. All manners of stresses contribute to this process- physical and well as emotional and psychological.

Digestive Ailments: Calcium bentonite is a natural buffer to acids and alkalies. C.bentonite supports natural gut flora. With these characteristics, calcium bentonite aids to restore the correct balance of digestive processes. All living animal bodies exist in a world of natural bacterias. We all need these to survive.

When these get out of balance or an unidentified bacteria enters, the digestive process can get disturbed, followed by the endocrine system, the lymphatic system the and even the very life-support systems of blood and bone creation and solution. Emotional and psychological systems get disrupted and complete the cycle with further disruption to a persons eating and drinking habits.

Food Poisoning: We have demonstrated over and over the efficacy of our clay to treat cases of food poisoning. From water to meat to vegetables, contaminants ride along and invade the unsuspecting body. Our c.bentonite, when ingested following an attack, immediately attracts and binds these poisons and starts isolating them from the body. The contaminants as essentially neutralized as they are bound and passed through the digestive system. Problem solved.

How To Order: This is a work in process, still. I intend to post separate Order forms for each product class as I get our inventory prepped. The order forms will follow the available inventory. Please look on each of the following Products pages for their Order Form.

As we get to working in to our new refinery, our goal for 2022 is to put out 10,000 lbs. of our 200 mesh powder. We might make more, we might make less and we might have options for some other particle sizes for other products.

In trying to respond to the surge of interest in USP-classed "Food Grade" clay, we have begun a process of treating our select grade clay for oral and internal uses.To the best of my understanding at this time, there is no Certification of any clay for "food" use. Please be invited to review USP at https://www.usp.org/food-safety-integrity for direct information.I do not see "bentonite" or any mineral similar to calcium bentonite listed on the USP Safety Data Sheets index. It seems to me that, just like the term "bentonite", "food grade" is just a description, NOT a definition, so- lack of definition leads to misunderstanding, confusion and misuse.

Our EdiClay (TM) is intended to offer a product meeting the interests and needs of both healthcare practitioners and direct users for a measure of safety in consuming clay for health issues. I do understand that the concerns involved with ingesting clay have to do with additional health issues. The first rule in health care is to do no harm: every body is unique and each comes with it's own set of weaknesses. We must first do all that we can to not have side effects (unintended) impact the health of the user.
So- EdiClay (TM). We use a dry heat processing to kill foreign elements such as bacterias and other microbes. This is a controlled heating so that we don't damage the efficacy (effectiveness) of the clay itself. Ours is still a process in development and so we do not have a correct pricing and availability figured out.
We can supply some limited bulk EdiClay for now, if you would care to contact me to discuss our pricing and availability. I also want to see us produce capsules of EdiClay, but it won't be ready for this year.

OK- How To Order: I'm not there, yet. Now that this site is back up I can move on. For right now, I am considering starting a Shopify store site. They seem to have the right package for listing our products in different categories. When I get a Webstore decided and ready to populate, I'll set a link here to the store site.As always- Thank You for your patience with me. If you have a concern or a "sooner-is-better-than-later" need, please do contact me at kevinj@montanabentonite.com.
